The Keystone Effect was one of the second place high school central winners in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam documentary contest. The video was produced by Matthew Eastmo, Travis Mills, and Ashley Peterson, seniors at Saint Thomas More High School in Rapid City, South Dakota. The local cable company was Midcontinent.

C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. “The Three Branches and You” was the 2015 theme, with contestants asked to tell a story that demonstrates how a policy, law, or action had affected them or their community. close
