William Bywater spoke to an audience of college students on the recently completed North American Free Trade Agreement, a trade proposal that would reduce trade barriers between Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Mr. Bywater criticized the agreement for providing motivation for American companies to relocate abroad to take advantage of fewer environmental and fair wage regulations.
