Andy Warhol Museum

Erin Byrne and Jessica Beck gave a tour of the Andy Warhol Museum and shows personal artifacts that once belonged to the 20th century pop artist. Ms. Byrne talked about Mr. Warhol’s early life in Pittsburgh and his relationship with his mother, which she says helped spark his creativity. Ms. Beck showed selected items that make up the collection of Mr. Warhol’s personal items.

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2016 LCV Cities Tour” in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from September 17-23 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Comcast cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. The history segments air on American History TV (AHTV) on C-SPAN3 and the literary events/non-fiction author segments air on Book TV on C-SPAN2. close
