Alan Gomez talked about his USA Today story on new deportation guidelines drafted by the Department of Homeland Security as part of President Trump’s efforts to increase immigration enforcement in the U.S. The two new Homeland Security orders that came out the previous day instruct immigration agents to deport any undocumented immigrants they encounter and to place in detention undocumented immigrants caught trying to enter the country. Among other topics Mr. Gomez talked about the costs related to the guidelines. close
