Robert Bork spoke with CBS News about the likely legal legacy of the Supreme Court’s decision in Regents of the University of California v. Bakke. At the time of this interview, Mr. Bork was a professor at Yale Law School. He later served as U.S. Court of Appeals judge. His nomination to the Supreme Court by former President Ronald Reagan was rejected in 1987 by the Senate due to his statements in opposition to civil rights decisions during the tenures of Chief Justices Warren and Burger. close
