The U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosted a summit on the need for federal investment in infrastructure projects. In this portion, House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chair Peter DeFazio (D-OR) was the featured speaker who talked about the potential for Congress and President Trump to agree on an infrastructure spending plan in 2019. Following his remarks, two panels of speakers discussed the growing importance of public-private partnerships in building infrastructure projects and ways in which cities were working to revitalize aging infrastructure. close
