Capitol tour guide Robert Pohl shared some of his favorite unconventional stories with the U.S. Capitol Historical Society. He talked about the late-19th century fad of honeymooners visiting the Capitol, the electric car that traversed the underground passages, and a violent episode on the Capitol’s mini-subway system. Mr. Pohl is the author of Wicked Capitol Hill: An Unruly History of Behaving Badly. The U.S. Capitol Historical Society hosted this talk and provided the video. close
