Economists from the Department of Agriculture, former government officials, financial analysts, and agriculture policy advocates joined the American Enterprise Institute for a discussion on the state of the U.S. farm economy. Several topics were discussed, including farm finance and agriculture business structure, how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted farm incomes, climate concerns, and the allocation of government subsidies and programs on farms of various sizes.
