President William Jefferson Clinton and Vice President Albert Gore Jr. addressed the President’s Advisory Board on Race. The board was holding its meeting on the relationship between demographics and race relations. President Clinton talked about his experience at the reunion of the Little Rock 9 and the anniversary of Central High School’s desegregation and expressed his hope that the board would take positive steps to identifying ways to bridge the current gap between the races. close
