New York Governor Andrew Cuomo responds to comments made by President Trump that Democratic-led states have been mismanaged. The governor says that with his state's $13 billion shortfall in revenues, he cannot afford to spend more money on projects in his state and that New York is dependent on the federal government for additional aid. He also says that Democrats cannot pass another coronavirus relief package that does not provide additional funding for the states. And he warns the president that he is going to have to compromise with congressional Democrats or risk failure. "The president is looking at a scenario where he either is reasonable and bridges the gap or they will not pass any legislation, and then he will have failed and this nation will suffer. That's what the president is looking at," Cuomo says. close
