The House considered and approved the debate rules for two upcoming bills. One, H.R. 3491, would prohibit the use of public school or college facilities to shelter non-citizens. Members later in the day began debate on this bill. The other measure, H.R. 3935, would reauthorize Federal Aviation Administration programs and was considered later in the week. Members also debated and rejected five resolutions to end presidentially-declared national emergencies involving conflicts in Iraq, Syria, Congo, Libya, and Yemen. They also passed a resolution declaring support for the state of Israel by a 412-9 vote. All "no" votes were by Democrats, including Rep. Tlaib (D-MI).
