Georgia Voting Systems Manager Gabriel Sterling held a virtual press conference to provide an update on Georgia's recount of the 2020 election. Mr. Sterling said the Secretary of State's office was conducting investigations in Floyd and Fulton counties, but clarified the results of those investigations would likely not change the outcome of the election in the state. He also addressed a phone call in which Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) asked Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) about tossing out ballots.

Bill Gates, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla and Vaccine Confidence Project Director Heidi Larson joined the New York Times for a virtual panel discussion on the coronavirus pandemic and vaccination efforts.
