During the morning plenary meeting of the 9th Annual Summit on the States, a panel discussion was held on stopping identity theft and protecting consumer privacy. State legislators and policymakers discussed how states are creating policies to block identity theft, one of the nation’s fastest growing crimes. Following their remarks, they responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. Georgia State Representative Morgan moderated the panel. close
