During the second part of an afternoon session of State of the Black Union 2006, a panel of emerging leaders in the black community talked about issues facing youth, bridging the “digital divide” through the use of technology, and future challenges for minorities in America. Mr. Smiley moderated the panel and asked each participant for their brief views on the role of the African American community in the nation.
