Yale political science graduate student Josh Kalla spoke via Skype about the field experiment he did with David Broockman of the University of California, Berkeley, to test whether the offices of members of Congress were more likely to grant access to contributors or constituents. A graph was shown from their report Congressional Officials Grant Access Due to Campaign Contributions: A Randomized Field Experiment that showed that except in district offices, donors received better access than constituents. close
