Five Cabinet secretaries testified before a Senate panel on the Trump administration’s ten-year $1.5 trillion infrastructure proposal. The plan includes $200 billion in federal funds to spur state, local, and private partners investments; investments in rural areas, particularly broadband Internet access; and would limit federal funding to 20 percent of the overall cost of any given project.
