Stacey Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands), and Congressional Black Caucus Chair Steven Horsford (D-NV) joined other politicians, activists, and scholars at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual legislative conference. Among the topics discussed were challenges to democracy, affirmative action, and safeguarding voting rights. Also making remarks was New York Attorney General Letitia James (D), who filed a civil suit against former President Trump and the Trump Organization for alleged fraud. close
