President Clinton and Ms. Hillary Rodham Clinton welcomed the Emperor and Empress of Japan during their State Visit to the U.S. Following a formal introduction to the Vice President and State Department leaders, the President and Emporer reviewed the troops assembled on the South Lawn and addressed the assembled dignitaries.
